Overview
Sage & Bloom Studio, a boutique floral design business, was struggling to showcase its premium services effectively through social media. Their Instagram lacked cohesion, post engagement was inconsistent, and their visual identity didn’t reflect the sophistication of their work. Most importantly, they weren’t converting followers into inquiries.
I developed a tailored content and design strategy focused on elegance and storytelling. This included:
A muted, nature-inspired color palette and consistent typography for brand cohesion.
Educational posts (e.g., seasonal floral care tips) to build value.
Before-and-after carousel visuals to highlight transformation in events and spaces.
Call-to-action optimised captions to drive direct inquiries through Instagram DMs and link-in-bio tools.
Research
Short-form vs. Long-form
Reels showcasing behind-the-scenes prep outperformed static bouquet shots by 3x in saves and shares.
Content-Type Engagement
Story polls and floral Q&As had the highest completion rate, indicating active interest in user participation.
Posting Schedule
Evening posts between 6–8 PM showed a 40% higher engagement compared to morning uploads.
Design
To reinforce Sage & Bloom’s refined aesthetic, I introduced:
A grid-based feed layout using soft blush and sage tones.
Branded highlight covers with simple line illustrations.
Story templates for client testimonials and event showcases.
A stylised Linktree alternative featuring service tiers and a direct booking form.
Results
In the first 5 weeks of implementation:
Engagement increased by 44%
DM inquiries rose by 65%
Follower growth averaged 12% weekly
Site traffic from Instagram increased by 35%
The client also booked 3 weddings directly through social links during this time.
